First of all a big thank you to everyone who supported us at Party.San Open Air! You guys were awesome! We had much fun on stage as well as in front of the stage and backstage!

On the first two dates the Hatefest Tour will meet the Thrashfest Classics Tour with Sepultura, Exodus, Destruction and Heathen. It will be calles the “Metalfest Winter Edition”.

On 10^th December we will play at the X-Mas Festival in Geiselwind together with Morbid Angel, Arch Enemy and others. On 17^th December we will play at the legendary Eindhoven Metal Meeting together with God Dethroned, Asphyx and others.

Finally we also have bad news for you:

Unfortunately our show on 3^rd September with Asphyx, Disbelief, Loudblast and Fallen Saints had to be cancelled because the Ballroom in Osnabrück where the show should have taken place is renovated during that time.

If you still do not want to miss us, visit us at the Turock Open Air on 17^th September. The show is for free, you do not have to pay!

Ready for Party.San Open Air!

During the last days we intensely prepared for the coming festival show at Party.San Open Air. Today is our last rehearsal before we start our journey to Schlotheim on Friday.

We are definitely ready to kick your ass!!!

Dawn of Disease – New song at Party.San Open Air!

Hey Metalheads!

We are proud to announce that we will play a brand-new song at Party.San Open Air!

After working on several new songs we decided to not longer keep it a secret and present one of them to you. And what could be a better occasion than the Party.San Open Air?!

You better prepare for a straight in-your-face death metal neckbreaker that will rip your head off!

Dawn of Disease at Turock Open Air 2011

Hey everyone!

We have good news for you!

Beside our concert at the Bloodline Festival on 3rd September with Asphyx, Disbelief, Loudblast and Fallen Saints in our hometown Osnabrück we have another show confirmed:

We will play at the Turock Open Air in Essen! In front of the famous metal club at the Viehofer Platz there will be an Open Air stage where the festival takes place.

The date is 16th and 17th September. We will play on Saturday, 17th September.

We are very much looking forward to it because we will share the stage with Vesania, Hate and again Disbelief.

You are all invited to join us in a great day of extreme metal!

And now comes the best: THE ENTRY IS FREE!!!

You do not have to pay for this show!

Honour to the winner of our special giveaway!

During one of our rehearsals last week, we prepared everything for the winner of our competition.

We have been looking for the evilest/most brutal/funniest/craziest way of torture and Jan Euteneuer did it by posting the following:

     “You sit in a room and must watch your mama have sex with Justin Bieber for hours, while a   

       endless loop of Rebecca Black's "Friday" is running the whole time. And the only way to

       end this is to cut your dick off and down it with warm, french beer.“

In our opinion this would be the worst way of torture with nearly no way to survive.

So lucky Jan will get a Dawn of Disease fan-package from hell, including some useful stuff like

1x signed “Legends of Brutality” CD

1x signed poster

1x Dawn of Disease shirt white

1x Dawn of Disease shirt black

1x pair of signed drumsticks

1x signed drumhead

and

1x ash from hell, touched by satan himself.

You better do not ask us how we got the latter thing.

Launch of our weekly blog

Hey DoD-maniacs!

From now on you can follow our weekly blog. Every week we will supply you with news and information about Dawn of Disease. So here is the first one:

This week we started to get into an intensive phase of songwriting. As we have no concerts in July and booked the studio for winter we decided to concentrate on new songs, arrange them and in general work on them. At the moment we are writing many e-mails filled with new songs and ideas for the coming album.

On Saturday Mathias and Lukas met in order to check out some new songs and collect ideas for the drums. During our rehearsal on Monday we worked on two brand-new songs and you can be shure that they are really ass-kicking and brutal as fuck!

Moreover we got some nice, good-looking Noise Art Records shirts from our label.

Back from the mud!

Hey everyone!

We are back from the Death Feast and here is a short report for you:

At about 9 o’clock in the morning we met at our rehearsal room in order to pick up our equipment. Then we started our journey to Hünxe where the Death Feast took place.

The weather was quite good but during our travel on the highway it went worse and worse. It was raining like mad which really sucked. But nevertheless we hoped that it would get better until we arrive.

Unfortunately it did not and the whole location was turning into a huge pit of mud. But that did not worsen our mood because we wanted to play a real kick-ass death metal show regardless of the wheather.

Shortly after our arrival we took a look at the area and ate a small snack. In addition we made some promotion for our show by giving flyer to people and hanging up some poster. Our stagetime was at 3.30 pm and we decided to relax a bit in the backstage tent. However the relaxation was interrupted very soon as we got to know that Resistance, who had to play right before us, cancelled their show. So while By Brute Force were playing their show we had to prepare to go on stage earlier than scheduled.

Fastly we loaded out our equipment and prepared for the show. Sadly there was no opportunity to tell everyone that our stage slot changed so we expected that there would be not that many people in front of the stage. But somehow we were mistaking. As we started our show more and more people came and watched us. It must at least have been 300 or more, which is, regarding the heavy rain, a huge number. We really appreciate that and would like to thank everyone who was that brave to come to our show! Horns up!

The show itself was really great and it was very amusing to see some people wrestling in the mud-pit in front of the stage. It would be really interesting to know how they became clean again, surely the rain did its work.

After the show we talked to some fans who told us that the sound in front of the stage was quite marvellous. That was good to hear.

We fetched us some nice cold beer in order to moisten our dry throats and hungry as we always are, we went to the festival ground and ate a small snack again. Furthermore we met some of our mates from Lay Down Rotten, who were visiting the festival. Some minutes later also members of Sudden Death and The Splatter And Gore Department appeared to chat some few words with us.

Later we looked for some merchandise and also talked to some of our fans. At 6 o’clock in the evening it was dinner time. We sat down in the backstage tent and ate some really delicious food. Afterwards we decided to drive home because the weather was not getting better.

About one and a half hours later we arrived at Osnabrück, put our equipment in the rehearsal room and talked a bit about the day.

In conclusion we can say, that despite the weather we had much fun at the Death Feast, which is mainly due to all of our fans whom the rain could not bother and who gave us good feedback during and after the show. You rule! Thanks to everyone of you!
